BricaBox - the next step in social content

brica.pngI just heard about a new site called BricaBox. Rather than being a social site (IE facebook) or a content site (IE youtube). It is a social platform that lets you create your own social content site.

I think this would be a great tool to create your own user generated content and not be tied to using a certain content site. Right out of the box there are restaurant review site, photos + mashup site, website review site, video collection site, and discussion board among others. Or you can, create a BricaBox from Scratch.

It’s kind of a new concept so I think we will need to wait and see if it’s embraced.

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my site via RSS or email . Thanks for visiting!

  • Hey Matt.
Thanks a lot for the post. Yeah — we shall see if this actually gets adopted, but so far I’m jazzed (do people say that?) about the responses, like yours and others. Very fun. Anyway, stay in touch and send me feedback. Would love to hear how we can make it better (meaning: will add to the long list of improvements we already want to make!).
