Political Sites revisited

Update: Pat just posted a summary of his candidate reviews

For being as some people call me “A-political” (lacking interest in politics). I do have great interest in how politicians use the web for the election process.

I once did a site for a local politician who ran for office, and there was my recent post Social Media and Politics collide. I think that Civicspace formerly Deanspace (as in Howard Dean) and how that came to be is fascinating.

I have been reading the posts of a fellow web friend of mine Pat Ramsey in his analysis of Inaccessible Campaign Websites. Pat is currently doing work for Knowbility which is an Austin based organization that works on making technology accessible to everyone. Any who these posts review the campaign sites of:

*Social commentary* I think it is a shame that some of the potential voters for these candidates might not able to access this info. due to poor site design. Admittedly, web accessibility is something you have to work at but it should really be important for sites that will serve the public.
